Make me... Shape me... For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse." ~*Romans 1:18-20*~ You are the God of love, but You are capable of all things... even wrath. You punish your people just as your bless them. We as believers know the Truth of Your Word. So, why do we ignore your teaching? "For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead." ~*James 2:26*~ They go hand-in-hand... these are complete in You... just as all things are made complete in You. "For one who speaks in a tongue speaks not to men but to God; for no one understands him, but he utters mysteries in the Spirit. On the other hand, the one who prophesies speaks to people for their upbuilding and encouragement and consolation. The one who speaks in a tongue builds up himself, but the one who prophesies builds up the church. Now I want you all to speak in tongues, but even more to prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets so that the church may be built up." ~*1 Corinthians 14:2-5*~ These gifts are given for Your glory... for You desire to hear our praises... they please You.
